I had an opportunity to with StoryHands collective I founded with jenny robins
Recently we had a email in our inbox and my illustration collectives founded with Jenny Robins was invited to run this May’s Tate collective workshop! The workshop is aimed at young people from 15yrs – 25yr in response to the artwork or exhibition at Tate Modern. It is only natural mutual love for colour, we picked the ever popular Matisse Cut Outs to base our workshop.
One of the aims we focuses do was that Matisse cut outs was part of his rebirth and it is possible to create art at the later stage of your life and revisit your inspirations, favourite subjects and sketchbooks to create more art.

It was so inspiring and motivational to encourage young people to develope their creative identity. It was such a joy to speak to everyone and share my process and experiences.
We had great positive feedback from the participants and Tate Collective. Thank you so much Tate for having us and Seawhites of Brighton providing items for our goodie bags.
